The San Francisco Road Runners Club™ (SFRRC) is a nonprofit, volunteer-based running club open to anyone with an interest in a healthy lifestyle and the benefits of regular exercise.

There are plenty of running groups in San Francisco. It is a great way to meet new people who share a common interest with you: running. Most of these groups cater to all levels, so don't feel like you need to be a great runner just to join.

San Francisco running clubs
The EBRC is a group of runners who run road + trail in beautifully scenic locations in the East Bay. Runs are on Saturday morning at 8AM sharp followed by a customary brunch thereafter. The club is divided into four pace groups (from sub 9 to 11 + min mile) and programs are modified to fit the runners present.

The San Francisco Track & Field Club seeks to dignify and promote gay and lesbian athletes and athletics and to be inclusive of all ages (Open, Masters and Seniors), all genders, all races and all abilities. They are one of the most active track clubs in San Francisco and regularly meet for team practices. They also host an annual track and field meet every summer. They have been serving the community for over 30 years and received a Proclamation from Mayor Ed Lee for outstanding service to the community.
Whether you’re notching your first mile, your first half marathon, looking to get faster, or simply want to meet some friends via this passion we call running, The Run Club team is here to make it happen. We’re also here to make you a better person. Run Club includes Tues. night runs in three locations (Downtown, GGP, and Presidio), Wed. night bootcamp downtown, Thurs. night speedwork in the Marina, Sat. morning long runs, and Sunday morning trail runs launching from A Runner's Mind (3575 Sacramento St).
We are a group of training partners and friends preparing together for any of the Half and Full Marathons. Even if you’ve never run a step before, training with our group will help you conquer mental and physical barriers you never thought possible. It happens all the time. We start wherever you are. Couch potato? Seasoned marathoner? Great. No matter what your conditioning or pace, there will be others to train with. Over the course of 20 weeks, our coaches will help achieve your personal best in a non-intimidating, fun, and safe environment.
We are a running club that conducts group runs during the week and on Saturday mornings. Half Full Running Club offers half and full marathon race training from experienced coaches and pacers with a unique, fun approach. Over 5 RRCA certified coaches bring decades of combined racing and coaching experience and have trained several hundred first-time marathoners to achieve their goals of completing a half or full marathon.
